The happiness of spirituality or the bliss of being(part 3b)

One could say that mysticism is a part of spirituality, but it is not the only form of spirituality. For example, some people may find spirituality in the appreciation of the beauty of nature, involvement in social causes, the cultivation of art, or the development of authentic relationships with others.

Spirituality is essentially a personal journey that depends on one’s values, beliefs, and aspirations. Each person must find their own way to connect with the meaning of life and their own essence. The word “mystic” is related to mystery.

Mysticism is a “beyond” as is mystery itself. Mysticism belongs to individuals and not to groups. Mysticism can be seen as the spiritual practice of love, the art of uniting human with Reality through prayer. Any mystic, regardless of the religion to which they belong, is inwardly trained. Self-knowledge, which is at the foundation of the entire mystical life, means primarily studying the structure of the human being: body-soul-spirit. The world is a dimension of the soul and not of the Spirit. In its depth, man is not a “terrestrial plant” but a celestial one; his roots are in heaven. The spirit of man is related to the divine; in him, divinity rests.

The soul stands in a peaceful and serene silence in the movement of the Spirit. Images of light, such as the Sun, flame, spark, and fire, are common among mystics since ancient times. God is light; He is surrounded by a cloud because no gaze could withstand His brilliance. God is compared to the Sun, and mystics can rightly be called “people of light.” They internalize the Sun and are surrounded by its light. God is the consciousness of His being, the consciousness of pure existence. The self-awareness of man is God. Everything begins and ends at the level of consciousness. The only reality is the consciousness within you.

Pure light and infinite love be with us!
