The Aura of the Body(part 3)

The Mental Body or Our Thoughts

The mental body is the vehicle through which the Self manifests in the form of the intellect. Under certain conditions, even after death, the mental body serves as a separate vehicle of consciousness in which a person can live independently of the physical and astral bodies.

The coloration of the mental body of an ordinary person is yellow, pink, and blue, with yellow representing intellect, pink representing love, and blue representing devotion. Mystical thoughts are indicated by colors that have no equivalent in the physical plane. A person uses the mental body every time they think, but this is far from the full utilization of the mental body as an independent vehicle. Thousands of years ago, some people used certain ceremonies to awaken the faculties of the higher mental body.

The mind should not be identified with the person themselves. Most people do not realize that all sorts of wandering thoughts cross their minds and have no training in mental control, which makes them powerless in the face of the torrent of thoughts. The mental body represents thinking, being conflated with the mind, and is composed of the subconscious, conscious, and superconscious.

The mental body is very important and requires special attention. All life unfolds in the subconscious (it is the ensemble of psychological states that influence a person’s behavior and includes memories). Childhood is the moment when the subconscious begins to develop. The role of the mental body is to facilitate the transfer of information from the physical and energetic bodies to the higher bodies.

The superconscious is the higher level of consciousness that is the source of intuition and imagination. The most elevated feelings are encompassed in the superconscious; joy, inner peace, etc. An educated person knows how to use their subconscious, conscious, and superconscious. For a person to be fulfilled, healthy, and happy, the three parts of the mental body mentioned above must be in harmony.

Everything belongs to God!
