The Astral body

     The first time the astral body was discovered by Paracelsus in the 16th century to denote the etheric body. 
     The astral body cannot be perceived by anyone.The word -astral- which comes from the medieval alchemists refers to the stars, alluding to the luminous aspect of the astral matter.  The astral body is similar to the physical body, being surrounded by an aura with bright colors and is composed of a matter whose degree of subtlety is much higher than that of physical matter. It depends from person to person on how it is structured. The study of the astral body will help us understand the psychic methods of treating diseases. 
       Sensations, desires and emotions are expressed through the astral body. The colors of the astral body differ according to the person's feelings. We must not forget that human emotions are rarely pure, the colors are not neither are they pure and mixtures are usually observed. In the course of man's evolution, his astral body resembles more and more the mental body, until it becomes almost only a reflection of it.
