Techniques for Raising Your Vibrations(part one)

During the day, you encounter many things that drain your energy and lower your positive vibrations: maybe your boss is unfair to you, your partner or kids are having a rough day, you might have an argument, face traffic, noise, bad news, or simply deal with energy-consuming problems. Even overeating can sap your energy.

(Note: This does not apply to people who are sick—they should eat a normal, nutritious diet.)

When your vibrations are operating at a low frequency, it becomes very difficult to focus on your goals or align with happiness. Conversely, when you are at a high vibration, you feel more stable, secure, creative, confident, expressive, intuitive, and focused on life.

There are many methods you can use to raise your vibration. Once you become familiar with them, you’ll start to discover your own ways. Here are 10 techniques you can apply in just a few minutes to achieve results:

1) Singing

Singing is the fastest and easiest way to raise your vibration. It’s very hard to feel sad or depressed when you’re singing. Try singing a song with lyrics—belt it out like you’re in a Broadway musical. If you’re shy, find a private spot for this.

It’s also a lot of fun to come up with new lyrics to an old song or to sing karaoke. Even if you’re feeling too sad, give singing a try. Sing in the morning, while getting your kids ready for kindergarten or school, or as you prepare for a new day at work, and you’ll see your day improve!

2) Movement

When you move your body, you invite the Universal Spirit within you and stir the energy inside to break through any energetic blockages. If you don’t like dancing, try exercising. Take a walk, ride a bike, climb stairs, lift weights—get your muscles working. This will ground you and reconnect you with your body and the Earth.

Remember, you are a spiritual being in a physical body, and you need to take care of your body so it can safely house your Spirit. You can also try practices like qigong, tai chi, or yoga. These all include meditation and aim to reconnect the mind, body, and spirit. Moving your body cleanses the lymphatic system and releases endorphins, which make the body feel good.

Movement energizes you. When people are sad or depressed, they often don’t feel like moving, preferring to stay in bed or watch TV. If you find yourself in a negative frequency, force yourself to move. Take a walk or dance to your favorite song—you’ll notice a significant shift in your vibration.

3) Laughter

Humor always raises your vibration. It’s no coincidence that they say laughter is the best medicine. If you’re dragging through life and feeling overwhelmed, find a reason to laugh. Laugh at yourself and your situation. Learn not to take yourself too seriously.

If you can’t laugh at your situation, find another reason. Watch a comedy, an amusing video, or read a book of jokes. Laughter releases endorphins in the body. It’s rare to see depressed people laughing—if they did, they might be able to overcome their depression.

When you can laugh even during challenging times, that laughter can bring you to a place where you can take action and escape low vibrations. When was the last time you laughed wholeheartedly? It’s a wonderful feeling of release that’s worth experiencing more often.
